英语中“because、as、since和for”都是表原因，有什么区别？because和for强调“为什么”，说话人希望大家关注原因

　　Because引表示直接原因，for表示间接原因，或者推断的根据。

　　for引导的原因状语从句一般只能在句中。

　　如：

　　Kate spoke quietly because she didn’t want Ali to hear.

　　Kate 平静地说话，因为她不想让Ali听到。

　　I’m sure it rained last night, for the ground is wet.

　　我确信昨晚下雨了，因为地面是湿的。

　　since和as也是“因为”，但只是附带说明原因，说话人希望大家关注结果。

　　二词差别不大，但since的理由比as更充分一些。

　　Since everyone is here, let’s start.

　　既然大家都来了，我们就开始吧。

　　I really want Ellen to come as I want to hear about her trip to France.

　　我真的很想让Ellen 来，因为我想听一听她去法国的旅行。

　　Because I opened Lisa’s letter, she’s angry with me.
